Gould was elected to fill the vacancy on the board of commissioners for the next three years. The election was held Saturday. G. II. (Sandy) Gazcley had completed his term of three years and he was the only other con testant In the election. Gould polled 78 votes and Gaz cley had 49 votes. There were six polled ballots.
