M. Budinich, left for Van couver. Seventy-one years of age, Mr. Colllson was born at Klncollth on the Naas River, the son of the late Archdeacon W. H. Col-lson, one of the famous missionaries of the early days among the natives on this part of the coast. The adventures of the family among the Indians, some j of "whom were Still barbarous, and inhospitable, are eplcally recorded In the elder Collison's well known book "In the Wake, of the WaT Canoe.'' However, William, Jr., and Tils brothers and sisters did not spend all of their younger days on this coast as they were sent to Ireland to be educated. The late Mr. Colllson, following his fathers footsteps, went in for the Anglican ministry and returned to this coast to become a missionary, serving -as. such at Massett and at Stewart. He often relieved in other parishes including Prince Rupert. His experience In Indian affairs led to his appointment as Indian Agent Irrst for the Naas River district and later for Prince Rupert into which the Naas and Skeena River agencies was combined. In 1940 Mr. .Col llson, retired as Indian Agent and left for Vancouver to re side. Besides his widow, Mr. Col llson is survived by two dau ghters Mrs. A. M. (Muriel) Budinich of Prince Rupert and Lieut. Joyce Colllson, a nursing j sister at Shaughnessy Military I Hospital, Vancouver. There are ialso four brothers Archdeacon i .
