For the past several weeks 25 of them have been drubbing each other about the midriff and punching the sandbag as they put themselves in shape for the rigors of the show. Dill Porayko, who will smite lustily as champion of the Prince Rupert Regiment in the main event nine bouts later. Bill, who has been gathering lustre since he made his first public appearance in the ring on a Boilermakers' card last rprlng, will fight Wellman Wallace who has been garnering credits in U. S. Army circles. Porayko has cut quite a swath in his three ring appearances, I remaining undefeated and with three T.K.O.'s to his credit. Wallace, a rangy fighter who originates down by the Mason and Dixon llni has o, hie 1at j seven fights, and exhibited real i class on Acropolis Hill last Sep tember when be polished off Les Geving by a T.K.O. Formerly a contender in the Kentucky Golden Gloves tournament, Wallace 'has been training under Ray Smith, dean of Acronolis fluht- ers. Smith admits thai Wallace has gained considerable polish in the last several months. The semi-wind-up will feature Ray La.Rose, and an unanpounc-ed fighter, probably from the American Army or Canadian Navy.
