Towels and seconds began to pile Into the ring from Porayko's corner after less than 30 seconds of the second round after the 168-pound Boilermakers' fighter had held his face a fleet- second too long in, the ortjlt of Wallace's tank-busting right. The blow, which Porayko had already sampled in the first round, put him out on his feet. After 80 seconds of the first round Wallace sent over his first right to Porayko's Jaw. It was a masterpiece of timing and solid delivery which jolted not only Porayko but the fans as well. Both had, apparently, been fascinated by the manoeuvres of Wallace's left, which seemed to be opening trie way for a body blow. The bell saved Porayko in the initial round and he had not recovered when he went in for the second round. Wallace's final right sent Porayko to the canvas and he arose, clinging to the ropes, when the seconds cried halt. The fight had been scheduled for five two-minute rounds.
