Fashion Show Is Delightful Dictates of Dame Fashion for fall and winter were smartly exemplified for hundreds of eager Prince Rupert ladies in the banquet hall of the Masonic Temple last night. It was the third annual autumn fashion show of Mrs. Laura Mitchell's Job's Daughters. Girls of the bethel were attractive and graceful in their modelling of a fine range of the latest In styles in gowns and housecoats, sports wear, dresses and suits discriminatingly elected from the stocks of the Rupert Peoples Store with whose co-operation the show was staged. Breathtaking culminating feature, was an ingeniously staged wedding scene. Novelty number;, and several musical numbers rounded out a program which was completely delightful. Setting for the show was effective, the mannequins entering the hall from the main doors and moving up the centre aisle to the stage which was simply yet tastefully decorated with seasonal flowers. Mrs. J. S. Black, at the piano, played the processional music. Miss Marie Boulter was mistress of ceremonies and Mrs. Mary Strachan gave the descriptions of each item as It was displayed. Gowns and housecoats were displayed by Gwen McRae, Lois Lakle and Barbara Flaten. Joan Langridge, Peggy Pullen, Lorna Donaldson, Solveig Mork and Joyce Watts presented the sports wear. Chosen to model the dresses were Viola Prendergast, Maraget Murray, Ruth Walton, Frances Webber and Chrlssie Montgom ery. Suits were shown by ChrU Spencer, Beatrice Klrby, Kay Nlckerson, Donna MacArthur and Nan Kennedy. Andrey Hunter, Beryl Ander son, Marie Boulter, Glenys Lash- mar and Pat Love wore the, coats and dresses. Wedding Display. Beautiful Feature. The. wedding display was a beautiful feature, cleverly presented. Lovely indeed was the bride whose role was taken by Marjorle Eby. The gown was of heavy satin, raised silk felt de sign with sheer net trim. The pretty bridesmaids were portrayed fay Yvonne Marin arid Barbara Flaten. irv dJSbls net skirts with lace bodices and tulle noselength veils. Kny Lund was a wlnesome little flower girl. Appropriate bouquets were carried. Ray Allen was bridegroom. The escorts were G. J. Dawes .as the bride's father and James Bremner and Alex Mitchell as groomsmen. The comedy highlight, of the show was Mona McRae's strip tease, down to an early twentieth century bathing costume. It provoked gales of laughter in the audience. Frank James, Melvln Thompson and Alex, Mitchell", with clown modelling and comic acrobatics, punctuated the program and caused much merriment. The musical program, between modelling sequences. Included' piano duets by Glenys Lashmar and Ruth Walton, vocal trios in a "sister" act by Beryl Anderson, Carol Grey and Elspeth Mac-Kenzie, vocal solos 'by sweet little Maxlne Martin, piano solos by Sgt.
