U.S. NAMES ON, VOTERS' LISTS American civilians whose names Inadvertently appear on the Canadian federal voters' lists need not fear that they will lose their American citizenship for that reason, according to an opinion sought by the Dally News this morning from the Judge Advocate's department of the American Army here. However, If an American citizen takes advantage of the fact that his name is on a Canadian voters' list, and casts a vote his U.S. citizenship would likely be Jeopardized. Names of some American citizens residing In the city are understood to have been placed mistakenly on the voters' list by enumerators. One such person wrote Returning Offlcejr T. W. Brown requesting that his name be stricken from the list because he feared that he would lose his American citizenship. 1 A revised urban voters' list will be published after the close of the 'Court of Revision. Corrections of rural voters' lists will be made from enumerators' lists. Revised rural lists will not b'e printed. Buy War Savings Stamps Liberal Broadcasts Wednesday. May 30. 6:30 and 7:30 pjn.
