"The parcel becomes practically public property. Some one ! is short a razor blade, a bar of soap, a cigvette. so wipe and there it goes. But it works both ways. I am as bad as the worst so I must include the members of the mess when I send my thanks. "Unfortunately, we were on a little job that prevented us from receiving our mail in time for Christmas but, with all the Christmas wTappings, sweets, nuts and what not that were in evidence around the ship today, we had two Christmasses this year.
