The association is an organizaztion of top-ranking department oi education 1 officials and men and women of ; high position in municipal and voluntary educational bodies. Under the chairmanship of Dr. W. P. Perceval, director of Protestant Education for Quebec, the survey committee studied available reports 6n our Canadian educational systems and programs and consulted leading educationists throughout the field. The report of this committee was widely read and critically studied. It presents It outstand ing, needs in Canadian .education in the order of immediacy. First of all ranks "Health examination and follow-up treatments for all children." After recognizing good work in health education in our schools, it recmomends that Canada spend annually additional millions for school health programs.
