The mayor of Prince Rupert last week expressed on behalf of the city council official indignation over criticism by this newspaper of the city council's practice of going frequently into secret session to discuss public business. . It is interesting to note that Vancouver newspapers have just taken Mr. Justice A. M. Man-son to task for excluding the press from a civil case in Victoria. through the Post Office, sparing utes each, that time or legal autnorities already fully occupied with defended suits. The workroom has been humming with activity all week. In addition, work has been sent out to the various branches and to individuals at home. Drummond, who is stationed with the Royal Canadian Air Force at Terrace. This is the first baby to be born at the Airport. Consequently the parents are getting many congratulations.
