SHORT SPORT It now appears that the Kinsmen's Club Is going to sponsor an entry in the Prince Rupert Women's Basketball League this season. The club has expressed itself as Interested in backing a team if a league is operated and it will be very strange If a cir cuit is not operated since there were around 40 civilian girls alone playing basketball here last season. The Kinsmen have asked for mort information about the team and this will probably be provided at; the club's next meeting by a delegate from the squad. The Bo-Me-Hi girls' team Is scheduled to start practices soon and will doubtless enter the Women's Basketball League. There'll be ample opportunity for new players to come up with the Booth team this year since there is only one mainstay frcm last season's quintet, June Berg, the guard.
