Some In Regina expressed the view the clothing priority slip they received on discharge should Include priority on at least one pair of silk stockings as well as the one tailored suit to which it entitled them. One of them put it this way: was served at small tables laid with pretty luncheon cloths and centred with candles and Christmas foliage. Serviteurs were Mrs. J. Gordon, Helen Prystay, Johanne Kofoed and Betty Bis-sonnette. Mrs. J. Spitzel, Mrs. E. Whalen, Mrs. H. Cote and Mrs. J. Normandeau were in charge of an attractive display of ar ticles which were quickly sold. In the kitchen Mrs. James Lever, Mrs. J. Desjardlns, Mrs. J. Harris and Mrs. Rolfson were busily occupied in providing refresh ments for the tea tables. Mrs. G. Hipp was cashier and Mrs. Seaton hostess. Rt. Rev. Four women's hosiery departments explained to a reporter they did not recognize priority slips in the purchase of silk stockings. Discharged servicewomen, said clerks, took their chance with others whenever stockings were on sale. One servicewoman said she found being in uniform Jeopardized her chances of buying stockings.
