The Hillsiders came up from behind to score two baskets in the final 45 seconds of the game. Port Edward overcame an earlv Naw lead to tie the score at the end of the tirsi quarter, and to lead by a score of 26-20 at half time. More cood ball followed In the third quarter when Port Edward extended its lead to .30-20. However, in the final quarter, Adak played hard and fast to top the southerners bytwo points at the last whistle. Horn was extremely effective against the Hillsiders, using his height and weight to good ad vantage under the baskets against the smaller Adak team. Ton scorers were Kctchmark of Port Edward and Brltt of Adak who tied with 14 points. Early last fall Frank coached and took to the Pacific Command track meet a well-trained track and field ag gregation. During the early part of the present season Frank helped to organize and was instrumental In' getting a fine basketball loop going in the city. He also went so far as to referee many of the games. Much of this was accomplished under most trying conditions. 1 would like to express both for myself personally and the remainder of the Fortress Club appreciation for all that has been done for us.
