Both ladles and men called during the afternoon and were received by Mrs. Jens Munthe, the club president. The visitors kept coming for three and a half hours. At a beautifully decorated tea table Mrs. J. Hansen and Mrs. Blomberg poured. Serviteurs were Mrs. Shier, Mrs. Pedersen and Mrs. Norgaard. Cashier was Mrs. Henry Stangoye. In charge of the kitchen were Mrs. Foshelm and Mrs. Wilsey. Mrs. H. Paulsen and Mrs. O. Wick directed the sale of home cooking. Not the least Interesting feature of the afternoon was a display of articles produced by members of the club. This was just an indication of the splendid work the club carried on during its' period of activity. Not only has the club sent much-needed knitted articles to Camp Little Norway in Toronto and the hard-pressed homeland but it also save financial assistance to the Norwegian Seamen's Church and hospital in Montreal and also sent parcels each Christmas to the bovs in the Norwegian Merchant Marine.
