The hospital board was advised last night that a new mobile x- ray outfit for the hospital which had been ordered would not be available for delivery before September. W. Walker, pre sident of. the British Columbia Hospitals Association, read at the meeting of the local hospital board last night, expressed appreciation of the active interest taken by the local hospital organization in the affairs of the Association and predicted that many Important matters would be coming up In the year 1945. In the interests of fire preven tion, the use of electric Irons and heaters by members of the staff within the Prince Rupert General Hospital has been for bidden by order of the deputy fire marshal, IL Tj Lock.
