THIMBLE COOKIES Here's a simple recipe for Thimble Cookies Using Va cup of chicken fat In place of 4 cup of shortening: ' Thimble cookies require cup i Chicken fat, V cup brown sugar, one egg yolk, one cup pastry flour, one teaspoon vanilla and teaspoon salt. Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly, add egg yolk aridj beat well. Mix In flour, vanilla and salt. Form Into balls, place on a greased cookie sheet and dent the top with a thimble.
