Posed with the problem of get-itlng the grounds in shape for spring sports, the boys brought shovels, picks, rakes and wheel -j barrows and levelled the rough 'ground, hauling ashes from a nearby deposit to fill in depressions. I The project was conceived and acted upon in less than a week by the Boys' Civic Association which formed a committee and canvassed tor volunteers. Many volunteers came forward from among other students. Now that Interest has been aroused in the work the boys feel J that th? Job -will he finished and the summer sports will proceed as usual, They hope that an even crcater number will turn out this j Saturday to complete the work. Plans call for the surfacing of , the school grounds with ashes. f.FPR Radio Dial 1940 Kilocycles (Subject to rhnn?p TUESDAY P.M. 4:00 Woros With Music a-ion t Jive 4:30 Great Moments in Music' 5:00G.I.
