Through the recreation club at the plant, scores of workers who help to turn out the famous Mosquito, have enrolled for target practice on a range set up near the plant. One of the most enthusiastic fans at de Havilland is Connie Dean of the plant's traffic department. When her picture appeared in The Misquito, the workers' .newspaper, it carried the following caption: "In the year 1407, William Tell, hero of Swiss legend, was sentenced to death for refusing reverence to the Ducal hat of Austria, unless he shot an apple from his son's head.
