Smaller communities in the vicinity luive plans ready for community services of rejoicing along sober and reasonable lines. CANADIAN By MARGARET WOODWARD Following the wedding Saturday evening of Miss Sally Russell of the Canadian Women's Army Corps and Robert Christie of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, a reception was held In the lounge of the Red Triangle. A festive air was lent to the lounge which was decorated with a bower of greens and lovely spring flowers. The lovely bride wore white lace and net, with a bustle back. She carried a 'bouquet of pink carnations. Her only attendant was her sister, Miss Lorraine Russell, -who wore white sheer on Princess lines. Her bouquet was pink carnations and blue iris. Her headdress and mittens were in blue tones to match. The tea table was graced by a lace cloth and a low bowl of spring, blossoms. The young couple left for the south, travelling by boat. Sunday morning the first Army church parade was held In !the ,'Y" auditorium. Special i music was played before the be-; ginning of t he service and during the service. Music was provided by the Army band. The I service was under the direction iof Capt: Mason. I Wb. 3 military sand played i last night- in the auditorium to I a capacity crowd.
