Gyro
Club
in
a
farewell
talk
at
luncheon
yesterday.
"As
for
the
U.
S.O.
I
think
we
came
a
long
way
since
that
cold
winter
morning
nearly
three
years
ago
when
I
arrived
on
a
late
train
in
a
blackout
and
stumbled
up
to
the
camp
at
Acropolis
Hill,
feeling
that
here
was
desolation
indeed
and
very
much
like
heading
back
home
on
the
next
rtain.
But
we
found
Prince
Rupert
to
be
a
very
pleasant
place
and
from
here
we
shall
all
take
beautiful
memories."
Mr.
Finnerty
recounted
some
of
his
experiences

opening
on
an
interesting
vein.

singled
out
as
the
most
important
institution
of
all

S.O.
work
here
the
snack
bar.

was
something
