The
Christmas
spirit
burned

intensity

afternoon
when

than
a

of
Prince
Rupert's
senior
citizens
were
guests
of
the
Wom-
en's
Co-ordinating
Council
at
their
annual
"over
70"
Christmas
party
in
the
Knights
of
Columbus
Hall.
Total
ages
of
the
25
guests
was
close
to
2,000
years,
the
period
'In
which
the
observance
of
"Christ's
birth
has
been
held
sacred
to
Christian
men
and
women.

spite
of
age

some

infirmity,

guests
wore
their
years
lightly,

Women's
Co-ordinating
Council
on
their
outstanding
effort
in
providing
the
entertainment

Prince
Rupert
is
unique
in
Canada
in
the
fine
idea
of
honoring

elder
citizens.
