The pretty bride, who has lived In Prince Rupert practically all her life and Is well known and popular, was given in marriage by her father. She wore a green tuxedo-style suit with squirrel trimmings and brown accessories. Her flowers were a corsage of gardenias. The bridesmaid was Miss Ethel Hemmons, sister of the bride, who wore a blue suit and had a bouquet of white carnations. The groomsman was Fletcher Hemmons, jr. Following the ceremony there was a reception at the home of the bride's parents, 815 Alfred Street, where fifty well-wishing friends, gathered to offer their best wishes and congratulations to the couple who received felicitations under a white wedding bell with pink streams. Arthur Thompson proposed a toast to the bride to which the groom responded. The bride's table, decorated with carnations and stalks and white tapers, was centred with a handsome two-tier wedding cake which was duly cut by the bride.
