MRS. M. MILLER PASSES AWAY Mrs. Minnie Miller, a resident of Prince Rupert for the last 34 years, passed away at her home on Eleventh Ave. E. on Sunday morning. She was about 60 years old. Deceased came to Prince Rupert three years ago from the prairies, where he had been a farmer. Until entering hospital he had lived at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William Anderson, 244 Seventh Ave. E. Predeceased by his wife, he Is survived by 12 children, Mrs. Anderson being the only one in Prince Rupert. He was born in Austria. LUTHERAN TEA WELL ATTENDED The parlors of St. Paul's Lutheran Church were the scene of a very successful tea and sale Saturday afternoon, sponsored by the church ladies' aid. Tables and toooths were colorful with vases of chrysanthemums and the large number of visitors made the function a very active one. Convener was Mrs. Gus Mostad, president of St. Paul's Ladies' Aid. Particularly well attended were the apron and home cook ing booths and refreshments were served to scores of visitors. In charge of the home cooking booth were Mrs. L. Jensen and Mrs. H. Stangebye. The apron booth was attended by Mrs. L. Olsen and Mrs. J. Wick. The re freshment committee consisted of Mrs. D. Petersen, Mrs. M. Paulsen, Mrs. H. Johanson, Mrs. A. Foshlen and Mrs. L. Birtch.
