George
Radio
Station
An
interesting
announcement
has
come
from
Prince
George
to
the
effect
that
a
new
radio
station
is
to
be
established
in
the
hub
town
of
the
interior.
The
Prince
George
station
is
to
enjoy
a
wattage
power
of
five
times
greater
than
that
reputedly
used
by
local
station
CFPR
which,
since
its
hook-up
with
the
CBC
network,
now
serves
this
immediate
vicinity
quite
satisfactorily.
The
Prince
George
station,
while
it
may
not
be
heard
with
any
measure
of
consistency
in
Prince
Rupert,
should
be
a
boon
for
the
people
of
the
central
interior
generally.
