Applebee, 72-year-old Englishwoman who in troduced field hockey to this country in 1901, vows she's going to teach the game "as long as I hold together." Winding up the 25th season at her hockey camp in the Pecono Mountains, Miss Applebee estimated she had taught close to 8,000 players there in the past quarter century.
