Mr. and Mrs. K, Wasyk of Edmonton. The rite was performed by Rev, A, F. MacSiwecn of First Presbyterian Church. The ceremony took place In the home of the bridegroom's elder brother, William Wasyk, who acted as groomsman. Mrs. William Wasyk was matron-of-honor. Present during the ceremony and at the reception that followed were 16 friends. For her wedding the bride wore a street-length dress, of pink wool with black accessor ies with corsage of white carnations. The matron-of-honor wore a black wool dress of street length, with torsage of pink carnatjons. Scottish songs and dances were featured at the reception, the bride contributing a number of songs of her native land. Toast to the bride was proposed by Alex Halg and was responded to by Rev. Mr. MacSween. The bride's table was spread with a cloth oT white lace and was centred by a wedding cake flanked by tall tapers. The cake was cut in traditional manner by the bride. The rooms were tastefully decorated with pink and white streamers and wed ding bells. A buffet luncheon was ierved during the evening. The newly married couple, who will live in Prince Rupert, will take up residence at 226 Sixth Avenue East. Mr; Wasyk is associated with his brother in business here. The concert followed a brief business meeting of the C.Y.O. and included a pleasing variety of vocal, Instrumental and gym nastic presentations which drew warm response from the audience. Master of ceremonies was Johnny Comadlna. Following the concert, members of the C. Y.O. served refreshments to the guests. The concert opened with two vocal solos by Mrs. Douglas Gu-shue, "Dark Haired Marie"" and "My Laddie." This was followed by a Russian dance by Miss Pat ricia Clarke. The masterly piano playing of Joseph Frankey was presented in his renditions of a number of little dances by Schubert, the whimsical "Ar kansas Traveller" and "Hun garlan March" by Kowalskl, Two recitations by Mrs. Leon Blain, and a tumbling and weight-lifting display by Nell Ross and Emll Blain added further variety to the program, as did a tap-dancing presentation by Mrs. Hazel Wright. The program was concluded with two vocal solos "Morning" and the "Lord's Prayer" by Mrs. Gilbert Brown. Accompanist for the various numbers was Miss Frances Moore, A.TX3.M.
