You saw it in The News! NORMAN McLEOD PASSES AWAY Norman McLeod, resident of 'this city for some thirty years, passed away yesterday at Prince Rupert General Hospital. He was 71 years of age and was born In the Gaspe district of Quebec. Residing at 236 Third Avenue West, he is survived by a son, William McLeod. Another son, Norman McLeod, who had served In the Navy, died several months ago. Mrs. McLeod passed away a few years ago. A brother of deceased is Jack McLeod of Mon treal and a sister lives in Black Cap, Gaspe. J. C. Gilker of Prince Rupert is a nephew. Mr, McLeod had been in fall ing health since the death of his wife He took lniluenza about a week ago and rapidly declined. The funeral will take place to morrow afternoon. Mrs. Aubrey Simmons, wife of the collector of customs at Whitehorse, was a passenger aboard the Princess Louise yes terday, returning north after a visit in Seattle and elsewhere in the south. Commander and Mrs. Norman Leslie, who came to the city from Ketchikan at the end of the week to attend the Shrine ceremonial, proceeded to Vancouver on the Princess Norah Saturday night.
