Hotel. . ; arrivals Prince Jlujierl Mr. and Mrs. D. MzLcod. Por-cher Island; A. J. Clark, Vancouver; N. Nelson. Vancouver: W. B. Olscn, New Westminster; You arc cordially invited TO A LETTERBOX MRS. RICHARDSON REPLIES Editor. Dally News-Regarding the letter under the heading "Critical of Rupert" and over the name or signature of C. Grieves of Vancouver and which appeared in your paper on Thursday, March 13, I would like to tell C. Grieves that Leonard Campbell had been crippled for nearly five years and yet no one seemed to Interest themselves In his case until T. Smith, answering an appeal from the mother, Mrs. Ernest Campbell, asking assistance, for her son, started the fund so as to be able to have Leonard examined by Vancouver specialists. It was then we realized how generous the citizens of Prince Rupert were because enough money was raised to take Leonard to Vancouver and also pay "for trealmcnt which wc are now doing. Yes, Mr. Grieves, Mr. Traxlcr deserves a big thank you as you say, but eo docs every other big hartcd citizen who helped. It was I. Mrs. Ross Richardson, who- gave the Vancouver Sun the story of Leonard's life In Prince Rupert, hoping to get help for the lad. This "splash." as you call It, Mr. Grieves, was th only means of my getting help for Leonard as everywhere I went no one seemed to want to help me find a heme for him and many a door was closed against me Just because I met j the wrong people. The same ap- i plies to any city or town. ! As far as taking the credit or getting thanks, all we set is criticism. However, I wish to tliank you, Mr. Grieves, for' your criticism of the work wc have ; done for Leonard as It shows that the citizens of Prince Ru- ' pert are not so bad after all. ' Tliank you, Mr. Editor, fori your space in this paper. MRS. RDSS RICHARDSON. J. V. Peers, Vancouver; John Aitkcn, Vancouver; Mr. and Mrs. II. Trim. Skcena; Miss J. Howell, Vancouver; Mrs. E.
