Fifty-three new books were added, making a total of 8,141 volumes in the' Library. 1 . Young Canada's Book Week was marked at the Prince Ru pert Library with a display of Canadian and other worthwhile books. Quite an interest was shown in the display and books were borrowed which under ordinary circumstances are often bverlooked. ' In giving a report as Chairman of the Book Committee, Mrs. W. S. Kergin informed the Board that she and the Librarian had met on several occasions for the purpose of choosing new books for both adult and Juvenile Sections and when ordering had endeavored to select books which would appeal to all tastes.
