He played basketball In Skagway, Alaska, In 1901 with the "Malamutes" which team won the Alaska-Yukon championship, and in Dawson played hockey with the Colts and basebali with the semi- professional Guggenheims. He was shortstop and had a high batting average. He was also a playing member of the Dawson Curling Rink. In 1911, he played with the Tigers in Prince Ru pert and these games will be. recalled by many old fans. He I was a member of the Blue Rib-1 bon indoor baseball team , that played in the old Roller Rink In Prince Rupert, as well as being a member of the C.N.Rj Bowling Club. In earlier days he was active as a boxer and wrestler. Mr. McLeod, a lover of the great out-of-doors, has hunted and fished all over Yukon and Northern B.C. He is not without hobbies.
