The officials said opportunities for young men in the Canadian Army are greater than ever before along the lines of advancement, pay, pensions and trades training. Total number of borrowers now stands at 1,604, her report showed". There were 34 new borrowers added, against 20 mem-bershlu cancellations. Of the 1,798 books borrowed, 875 were fiction, 201 non-fiction. 371 juvenile and 348 "pay collection." The library was open for 21 days during tha month and average dally circulation was 85.4 books. Books added to the library during April included six by gift and 63 by purchase, while 50 books were discarded because of age. A committee consisting of E. E. Hyndman, Carlo Hansen, Mrs. F. E. Anfleld and Mrs. J. H. Black-was appointed to prepare recommendations that will serve as a guide to festival committees in the future. Aside from observations made by members t the present committee, question-aires sent to the various groups which took part in the festival, will supply valuable Information for the report. The recommendations committee will present their findings when they meet with the Parent-Teacher Council at the end of May. Carlo Hansen exhibited the silver trophies won in the drama competitions and reported that they were ready for distribution.
