The details of the scheme, which would he financed by the Dominion with assistance by the province, were disclosed to the city council yosterrkiy afternoon by City Clerk H. D. Thain who this week in Victoria attended a conference of municipal representatives with provincial government and Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation. With such a scheme of assistance as this available, there would appear to be a real solution to the housing problem. Not much longer now should the condition exist where it is impossible or nearly so to obtain bousing accomodation. It remains to be seen whether there will he much building for rental, the assistance of which is also provided for, but, without that, the scheme seems to bring within the reach of almost everyone the possibility of building for Men's TROUS dress, all woo!
