Archibald, M P., addressed the group of ladies who were present at the opening of the annual C.C.F. bazaar held hi the Sons .of Norway Hall Saturday afternoon. The , event was well attended, guesU being received by Mrs. Oeorge Hills and Mrs. H. G. Archibald. Th tables were decorated In the Christmas motif and servi-teurs were Mrs. W. Smith, Mrs was beautifully acted by the three youthful players George de Kergommeaux, Edna Cooper and Yvonne Larson. Director was George McAdams. The third and last play "The Monkey's Paw," held the interest of the audience in all of the three scenes to its dramatic climax when the open empty door way portrays a mother's anguish at the death of a well loved son. Players were Mrs. C. de . Kergommeaux, George Grant, Cliff Sinclair, Harold Baxter and Oliver Baxter. Director was Drama Club President Stephen Howlett. Announcer for the evening was George McAdams,' Civic Centre president. Dudley little thanked all for their co-operation in helping out the Civic Centre. On both evenings there was a large audience and the proceeds were satisfactorily substantial. Three well chosen plays were staged and the choice of characters showed sound judgment. In the intervals between the" plays the concert orchestra, conducted by Frank Gavan, played some delightful numbers.
