MONTREAL @) — A group of Montreal gourmets got to-
gether recently for an cight-course meal that took more than |
five hours to complete.

They were members of this city’s exclusive gastronomic
club “Prosper Montagne” named after a famous Frénch chef.

The feast took two days to prepare. During the final day
16 men were working in the restaurant kitchen.

It began wit: an nour of picking at delicacies such as
caviar, oysters and foie gras, Seven courses followed. The
‘elimax was a dish of sweetbreads with meuniere sauce, a
mushroom paste, and black truffics, '
