The daily vacation bible school . that has been held at the First Baptist church for the past. two| j - weeks was concluded’ Friday: with an evening of games and a . weiner roast for the pupils ‘n ’ the church hall. The school was held in’ two - sessions, a class of 30 beginners and primary children -attended - every morning under the teach- ing of Mrs. T. R, Lloyd, Mrs. R. B.,McDonald and Mrs. Henry Vanderheide. They were assist- -ed-by Pamela Painter and Mary White. Mrs. P. H. Linzey was the pianist. The small children “enjoyed a party Friday morning to conclude their school. Bride-to-be honored at shower Miss Jeanine Turcotte whose marriage to Mr. Victor L. Paul- ette Turcotte assisted the bride in opening the gifts. Mrs. A. G, Brain, grandmother of the groom, was winner of the door prize. Other prizes were won by guests-at bingo games. Delicous refreshments .were highlighted by a cake decorated , with a doll as a miniature bride, flanked by three miniature at- tendants moulded in pink spun sugar.
