Guest speaker Magistrate E, T. Applewhalte. in his, explana- tion of the-curfew told members that the bylaw would require all children under the age of 16 years to be off the streets be- tween the hours of 10 p.m, and 5 am. The restriction would not be in effect during July and August. Mr, Applewhalte also told the meeting that if a child js found on the streets after 10 p.m, with- out good reason or unchaperon- ed the police would be forced to take the child home. Should, this happen frequently the parents would be fined five dollars, Mr, Applewhaite sald.
