IMPROVEMENTS AT TELKWA COAL MINE Trouble has been experienced at the Telkwa Colleries this past week in getting out sufficient coal to keep the hauling teams busy, says the Interior News. The seam in thickening out has taken a dip, and while the coal pro- duced is of a higher quality, the further in it is mined the harder it is to get out. “Rosie,” the mule, has all she can do to pull a half car of coal up the slope and ar- rangements have been completed for the installation of a hoist.
