At the annual meeting of the Prince Rupert Canadian Club held yesterday afternoon in the Court House, Judge Young was re- elected president by acclamation. Other officers are Major MeMul- lin, vice-president; L. W. Patmore second vice-president, and H. Young, secretary-treasurer: ex- ecutive committee, Messrs. Me- Intosh, Burritt, Stewart, McAuley, Montoe, Steen, Nickerson, Pullen, Alderman Dybhavn and Rev. W. E. Collison. An interesting resume of the work of the year was read by the secretary, J. D. MeAuley in whieh if was stated that five luncheons had been held, the speakers be- ing Newman Erb, Lieut.-Col. C. W. Peck, the Duke of Devonshire, Hon. Fk. D. Carvell, and Hon. J. A. Calder, and a representative of St. Dunstan's Hostel for the blind. Invitations had been’ tendered number of others, but for various reasons had been declined.
