Sockeye. of course, makes up the bulk of the pack so far, and District Two. whose headquar- sockeye district on the coast. During the first six days of the season, District Two canneries accounted for 16,210 cases of the coast sockeye pack of 16,431 cases. Of this ,the Skeena and Nass areas packed 8,436 cases and the other areas of the district, Butedale, Namu, Klemtu, etc., accounted for 7,774 cases. Sockeye catches in the Smiths and Rivers Inlet areas were re ported to be very good this weeSii while the Naas was good anrij the Skeena fair.
