The crew have ar- ived safely in port. Telling of the loss of the boat, Capt. Ed. Anderson, her master, said this morning that last Tues- lay, while running in from a storm on Hecate Straits where ie. and his men were fishing, the Ilennell struck a rock on the south end of Est cyan Island which lies sbulh of Hanks Island. I'hey immediately put in to cow Harbor, Aristazable Island, where the boat was put on a grid and temporary repairs effected. I'hey spent two days there and hen proceeded with the boat to Hutedale where the catch of 2,- 000 pounds was sold. Then fhursday night they act out for Prince Ilupcrt, ther boat still u a leaking condition but ron-ddered fit to make the trip. Early Friday morning, while travelling. he exhaust pipe gave way and he engine stopped.
