A, F, MacSween cf Prince Rupertshared the latter's pulpit in First Presbyterian Church at morning service yesterday. Mr. MacSween sr., in his sermon, urged the getting down to fundamentals in the acceptance of the Christian way of living. Preconceived ideas cf easier and more modern means of getting spiritual satisfaction Than by old-fashioned practice of, belief should .be dismissed. The sermon was based on the story of the Assyrian army captain, a great man but a leper, wiho came to Elisha to 'be cured, but had be come indignant when told to cleanse himself in the waters of 'Jordan instead of the rivers of his own Damascus. Finally, he accepted Elisha's prescription and emerged a cured man after bathing in the waters of Jordan. Mrs. Gilbert Brown presided at the organ in the absence of Mrs. E. J. Smith. Box 1294 MURDER TALE IS EXCITING "Three Strangers' Coming to Capitol Theatre This Tuesday and Wednesday A tightly woven murder story plot enacted by a cast with Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre and cieraldlne Fitzgerald in the lead ing roles is the subject of an exciting picture, "Three Strangers," which comes to the screen of the Capitol Theatre here this Tuesday :ind Wednesday. The three strangers are a well-bred English woman unusually wrapped up in the intluencc of a Chinese goddess of human destinies (MIjs Fitzgerald), a London barrister (areenslreet), and a man, (Lorre) obviously of solid background, who, however, has deteriorated through the years. The meet on Chinese New Year identities, they make a joint-wish for money. They acquire a sweepstake ticket which draws a horse and, in a quarrel over the sharing. Greenstreet kills Mi.v; Fitzgerald. The horse on which they have the ticket wins the race, but it is useless for them to claim the prize money since to do so would be to link them with the murder. The final solution is for the guilty man to give himself up vo the police whereupon the other is reunited with his little Cockney sweet heart.
