These showed the results of many evenings of training. The guard of honor was the subject of much favorable comment by veterans young and old. Their smart rifle movements, their efficiency, their certainty of action bore the stamp of first class training. Their "present arms" to the May Queen was worthy of royalty. For this much credit must go to the officer In command of the guard, Midshipman Len Youngman. The band under Midshipman Mel Thompson also was , first class. Here again the results were a sign of the steady training of months. When the corps goes to camp this year these two units wil certainly set all othe rcadet corps a standard that will be very difficult to beat.
